It's Already September and so much has happened.
Alastair came home from his mission, yeah!! Hugh and I went to Rochester, New York to get him. We had a wonderful tour of his area's and met his friends and companions. Made it up to Niagra Falls as well.
Alastair got a job for the summer at the LDS European Distribution Centre, that kept him busy and made him some good money for school. He managed to do some dating and travel too. He leaves Friday to go back to Rexburg, Idaho.
Hollie was here for around 5 weeks, she stayed with the boys whilst Hugh and I went to the States. She went to the Gran Canaria with Al for a few days.
After Hollie went we had Tony, Tricia and Beth over for a week. We went to Austria for a few days and stopped by Munich on the way home.
A little later after Grannie left we went to Madrid, including a visit to the Real Madrid Stadium...the boys were so happy, you can imagine!!! The following weekend we went to Luxembourg, the cleanest place I have ever seen, incredible. We also visited Heidelberg and Rottenberg over the summer. (scenes from chitty Chitty Bang Bang were shot in Rottenberg) I then went to Poland with friends to visit the potteries. What fun that was.
School's back and Connor has already gone away with his year group. A place called Bregenz in Austria close to the German border. He'll be home Friday. Too bad he'll miss Alastair's departure.
Logan sprained his ankle the other week and had crutches but healed really fast so wasn't on them for long.
Connor made the JV Soccer 'A'team. Alastair's been training him over the summer and got him as fit as a fiddle.
I think that's about it for now. I am going to try and keep this going (promises, promises!!) we shall see.
